In the National Marine Park of Cabo Pulmo is a reef that is one of the only three living reefs in North America. Its coral reef and more than 7,000 hectares of water surrounding Cabo Pulmo was declared a national park in 1995, and finally included by UNESCO on the World Heritage List. This place of beauty and unparalleled importance is a treasure that attracts tourists, one of the reasons why it is of vital importance to be preserved, so that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this wonder of nature. There are more than 300 different species of fish in Cabo Pulmo that provide a shelter for marine species.

In Los Cabos we can find the Abyss, which is approximately 30 meters from the Arch of the end of the world; and the Sand Cascades which locate the bay of Cabo San Lucas among one of the deepest in the world. The Pelican Rock, is another attraction of Los Cabos to dive. It is 20 min. in boat of Cabo San Lucas and Punta Gorda. 5 km from San José del Cabo. This beach is somewhat lonely and its waves are considered strong, so it is important to be cautious. The Bay and Playa El Chileno, located between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, is an ideal place to dive or snorkel for its transparent and calm waters.

Other places we can mention are Boca de la Vinorama, Playa del Amor. El Medano, which is the most visited beach in Los Cabos, Costa Azul and Barco Varado which also has a strong swell and precautions must be taken. When visiting any of these places, the most recommended time is summer, as the water temperature is pleasant and has excellent visibility to be able to discover and appreciate more easily the depths.
